I’ve been taking the SC for just over a week now. Still no side effects so after this week I will slightly up the dose.
It is still making me feel better than I did, which is why I’m keeping going with it. I tried taking a urine sample, I have to apologise for the quality of the picture. I don’t own a smartphone or high quality digicam, so have to use my little video camera to take pictures and it doesn’t focus very well. But I hope the pic is at least helpful. I’ll keep trying. Obviously I don’t own a microscope and have no training in using one, so this is “it” as far as visuals for for me.
So, I take two doses…one in the morning either before or with breakfast. Taking about a quarter teaspoon in roughly 250mls of boiled and filtered rainwater, not tap water. If that makes a difference I don’t know and can’t say with certainty but I suspect it might. I haven’t drunk tap water for the past three years now. Sometimes I add concentrated pear juice and have found the SC enhances the taste of it considerably which is why, I suppose, they use it in the food industry.
I take the other dose in the evening, with or without food, doesn’t seem to matter.
So this morning I took the urine sample, it’s in a small test tube which was sterilised. I intended to leave it alone for the whole day, but something told me to check it after one hour, and I did. And I was quite shocked to see, in the bottom of the tube, a cloudy mass, clearly not normal. My urine had previously looked very clear. I make a point of staying well hydrated every day. And in the bottom of the vial was this cloudy mass, it looked very much as if there were solids in it. Solids of what I can’t with any confidence say without a scope and some training.
Again, I’m sorry for the picture quality. I’ll keep trying and see if maybe lighting may help in future, though I held the tube up in front of the brightest window currently in the house, that in the bathroom. I can’t do anything about focus though and was stuck trying to get the lens close enough to see the contents of the test tube and stay far enough back so the camera focused at all.
So, hope this is helpful and might encourage others to take samples and keep an eye on what appears, I suspect too others will have better equipment than I do, most folks seem to have cellphones now. I’m just a Luddite, lol…
I know it doesn’t show very well but in the pics, the cloud is in the bottom third of the sample. I was shocked at how much was there and the look of it. There were things that looked like horrible little “tendrils” in there. That’s not what you want to see in your pee at all…
and of course, I never thought I’d be discussing this in public anywhere. Feel a little embarrassed but given the seriousness of *why* we’re doing this at all, that doesn’t even matter.
Thank you for documenting your experience. What is the main difference in how you feel now as compared with before starting the SC?
